What am I learning?
You will gain a basic understanding of child safeguarding in sports. This includes definitions and terminology, as well as facts and figures related to the duty of supervision and its legal aspects. You will also develop a keener awareness of perpetrator strategies.
What can I do with it?
Make an important contribution to society by helping to provide children and youth with a safe environment at their sports club. You’ll support the club in obtaining and maintaining the Child Safeguarding Seal.
What else is important?
The basic training course is the cornerstone of the child safeguarding training program at LSB Berlin for all individuals—whether volunteers, part-time, or full-time—who work with children and adolescents in sports.
The training may be partially credited toward license renewal with LSB Berlin.
